Susan Miller, JD - Bio Summary

Attorney Miller is Chief Operating Officer and Chief Privacy Officer of HealthTransactions.com, a new company forged by two longtime health care hands empowering the health care industry in administrative, clinical and financial transactions. We provided valuable strategic information that enables our clients to be practical yet visionary as they move forward using the newest technology to gain efficiencies, interoperability and strength in their market space.

• Attorney Miller has an in-depth knowledge of the federal/state healthcare law and regulations as they impact medical practices, hospitals, health plans, and other health care entities. She has product and services, plus operations experience and knowledge.
• Attorney Miller is a co-chair of WEDI SNIP, a member of the Executive Committee, the Steering Committee, is a founding Co-chair of the Security and Privacy Work Group and chairs many of the privacy and security sub-workgroups. She has worked on numerous legislative initiatives and is responsible for analysis of state and federal health care reform proposals and payment reform.
• Attorney Miller is also a member of the steering committee for the New England HIPAA Workgroup, and on the advisory board of SHARP.
• Attorney Miller has provided legal and consulting services to several health care vendors, to a national accreditation agency, federal government agencies , and numerous other entities.
